YOGA is so much more than postural alignment and breathing. You will feel at peace at the end of a yoga class because there is a natural realignment of your body, which leads to a natural realignment of your perception of life and of who you are.
Through steady practice, you will manifest more capacity for joy, more freedom from material attachment and more compassion for self and others. Genuine yoga will change your life, your habits, your body, your health, your mind, your breathing patterns, your attitudes, and your outlook.
Starting a regular yoga practice in 2007 was a game changer for me. I had been struggling with lack of focus and mild anxiety my whole life. Yoga taught me to focus on my breathing and to quieten my mind. It was the most healing thing I had done until then and it changed my whole life. I became a yoga teacher in 2010 and have been teaching ever since.

There are many more benefits to Yoga, among others the increased lymphatic flow and detoxification. Yoga is strengthening, balancing, relaxing and invigorating all at the same time.
